Simply the best track day I have ever had! From the quality of class instruction to the track experience alongside my caring and passionate instructor Elizabeth Baker. I learned much more than I ever thought possible, and my driving has arrived to the next level. The community of people at SCDA is the utmost welcoming and available, making the entire experience feel like you are part of a big family. As a Porsche Club member, I was hesitant to try DE with another car club. I’ve now done three events with SCDA. This car club is truly professional. DE is about having fun while learning the limits of your car. SCDA does everything to make you feel welcome. Starting with coffee, donuts, and other treats registration and the drivers meeting is simple and easy. Tech inspection is painless. Instructors are great and the culture is second to none. Everyone is safe out on the track and there is great professionalism from the drivers and the SCDA TEAM. From Ferrari’s to Spec Miatas and everything in between, every driver is welcome. SCDA is very service oriented they do not expect you to volunteer or help out. They value your time and money and want you to enjoy the event without any hassles. Track sessions are much longer than many other car clubs, what a great value! They have a great schedule and visit some really great tracks. Don’t even hesitate, sign up for your first SCDA EVENT today and get your car on the track.
The event was well organized, and the staff and instructors were top notch.
I recently attended the SCDA “car control clinic”. It was a fabulous experience! I am an amateur racer, and wanted more practice with “feeling” when the car is at its limit. The Clinic was great! You spend time on a skid pad, practising car control in a variety of not-quite-in-control situations, and also on an autocross track. The event was well organized, and the staff and instructors were top notch. I will definitely plan do it again.

Having driven in a few events, and been at the track for many more to watch friends drive, and to just be around what was going on, I can honestly say that the SCDA is one of the best driving organizations I’ve ever seen. There is a much greater focus on the driving, and less on the pages & pages of rules & red-tape bureaucracy that I’ve found in other driving groups. You also have some of the best instructing talent in the entire Northeast. The day I spent with Justin Baltrucki was beyond amazing. I felt like I got 3 weeks worth of car, track & technique knowledge in 80 minutes. Also, the SCDA is so organized, and I’m a huge fan of that. You keep things simple, you keep things safe, you keep things fun, and you make it very easy to fall in line with the structure of the whole program. And, I don’t know exactly who your weather connections are, but you could not have dreamed of better conditions most days this year at Lime Rock. The numerous sunny and absolutely cloudless days were almost a distraction against the backdrop that is LRP. It was also kind of a neat feeling knowing that we were the last non-track club cars to drive it in 2013 last Saturday….don’t know why, but it was. When I tell people about the SCDA and Lime Rock Park, it’s very simple…I just sum it up into 3 words: “Disneyland For Adults.”Thank you all again for everything, I know a ton of work, planning & preparation go into every event…and it shows. – Scott C, Mitsubishi Sportback GTS
You and your team ran a great event at NJMP on Monday and Tuesday.
Your 15 years of dedication to SCDA has obviously had a great deal to do with the organizations success. This was my first event and I was very impressed with the format, including the instruction and briefing sessions. It is a relief not to need to be concerned with the time trial car classification rules and other details that I have been used to with COM Sports Car Club.
