The HPDE Insurance Program was formed in 2008 to provide an affordable solution to track enthusiasts. This program is only available to organizations that meet the high level of structure and safety required by the program. The Sports Car Driving Association, LLC is pleased to let our customers know that we have been approved for this program. In recent years, many SCDA participants signed up for this affordable protection.
The policy provided is purchased on a single-event basis via the HPDE Insurance Program website. The policy covers physical damage to vehicles both on and off the track while at approved events. When purchasing this coverage, the driver selects an agreed amount for their base vehicle. The driver also has the ability to add to the base value of the vehicle by scheduling modifications within the online application. The policy is underwritten by Mt Hawley Insurance Company (rated A+ by AM Best). The HPDE Insurance Program is administered by Lockton Affinity, part of Lockton Companies, the largest privately-held insurance brokerage firm in the world. At the SCDA we are not experts nor involved in the insurance industry. As a general reminder to all our customers : All SCDA events are strictly non – competitive, non – timed high performance drivers educational events. The SCDA is not a racing school.
