Elivan Goulart heads to the 2021 SCCA National Championship Runoffs at Indianapolis Motor Speedway with Mazda and KRUGSPEED Racing – Sep 23, 2021

Elivan Goulart, a multi-time SCCA National Champion, will drive a Mazda Miata in the 2021 Sports Car Club of America Runoffs National Championship at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The SCCA Runoffs is the culmination of a year’s worth of racing from across the country.  Elivan will race a Mazda Miata in the Spec Miata class, perhaps the most competitive class in club racing with 95 entries.  A previous winner in the SM class, Goulart has also won the Runoffs in F500 two times and once in STU, making him one of the most successful drivers in SCCA Runoffs history.

Goulart will be driving a Spec Miata prepared by KRUGSPEED Racing from Mamaroneck, NY and powered by Kessler Engineering. Also driving out of the KRUGSPEED stable will be teammates Anthony Geraci in his Spec Miata fresh off his first SCCA Super Tour win at Watkins Glen.  In addition, Anthony will pilot the same winning Lotus in STU that Elivan took to a national championship in 2013. Other up and coming teammates Jaden Lander in T4 class and Richard Astacio in a Spec Miata will round out their efforts for the 2021 titles.

Elivan Goulart is the owner and President of the Sports Car Driving Association. Founded in 1995, the Sports Car Driving Association (SCDA) provides the driving enthusiast the opportunity to experience high performance driving in a safe and controlled environment at over 40 events per year. SCDA events are strictly high performance driver educational events, and are non-competitive.
